1. General Provisions
1.1. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how PunkHive s.r.o., Company ID: 21152195, registered at Kaštanová 1055/14, 779 00 Olomouc, Czech Republic ("Controller"), processes personal data of users of the Beentry mobile and web application ("Application") in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Czech laws.
1.2. This Policy applies to users of the Application’s mobile and/or web versions.
2. Who Processes Your Data?
2.1. The data controller is PunkHive s.r.o., which determines the purpose and means of personal data processing.
2.2. You may contact the Controller at any time via email: contact@punkhive.com.
3. Scope of Processed Data
3.1. The Controller may process the following types of personal data:
- identification data (e.g., name, username),
- contact details (e.g., email address),
- address (if provided),
- activity within the Application,
- technical data about the device and app usage (e.g., IP address, device type, OS, logs),
- operational data (e.g., login times, changes to hive records).
3.2. Creating an account requires at least your name and email address.
3.3. Name and email address may also be used for marketing purposes based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
3.4. With the user’s consent, the Application may also process location data (e.g., via GPS). This data is used to enhance functionality, particularly in recording and evaluating information related to user activity. The user can also manually enter location data, for example when creating an apiary. Location data is not shared with third parties and is only stored for as long as necessary.
4. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
4.1. Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- providing and improving the functionality of the Application (performance of contract),
- managing user accounts and communication (performance of contract),
- marketing based on user consent,
- compliance with legal obligations,
- technical support and security (legitimate interest),
- analytical and statistical purposes in anonymized form (legitimate interest).
5. Data Retention Period
5.1. Personal data is retained for the duration of the user account and further as necessary to fulfill the above purposes, or as required by applicable law.
5.2. The user may request deletion of all data at any time, except for information required to maintain the account (name, email), or data subject to legal archiving obligations.
6. Data Sharing
6.1. Personal data is not shared with third parties, except:
- when required by law or legal proceedings,
- when necessary to protect the rights and safety of users or the Controller,
- with IT service providers, hosting, or analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), who process data solely according to the Controller’s instructions.

7.1. Personal data is stored exclusively within the European Union or in countries that provide adequate levels of protection.
7.2. The Controller has implemented technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. However, no system can be fully secure, and incidents may still occur.

8.1. Users have the right to:

- request correction or completion of inaccurate data,
- request erasure of personal data (if no longer needed or processed unlawfully),

- object to processing (especially for marketing),

8.2. To verify your identity, the Controller may request additional information (e.g., clicking a verification link, providing username or password).

9.1. When visiting the Application’s website, IP address, referral source, time of access, and pages visited may be recorded. Cookies are used to ensure functionality and analyze traffic.
9.2. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
